Anthony and Rebecca are fairly new members with CAL-RODS car club. Anthony is very active going to a lot of events and helping at our meetings. He has won many awards; too numerous to name them all.
Anthony's father bought the Corvair in 1970 for $50.00. The car needed a lot of work, and it sat around for years. Then in 1990, Anthony began his first restoration. He was still in high school. A side note to this story is that Anthony's Auto Shop teacher at Arroyo High School was long-time CAL RODS Member Bob Shively, and Anthony brought many parts from the Corvair to be worked on in class. Small world. Anthony's second restoration finished in February of 2021. We’re so glad to have Anthony and Rebecca and their beautiful and rare Corvair Spyder in CAL-RODS.
