Danny Blanton has had his 1953 Ford F-100 for some 25 years. Danny bought it from a friend of his, who had a body shop in Los Angeles, for $6,000.00. After many years, a lot of hard work and another $10,000.00, is where he sits today. He says he has a lot more to do, but don’t we all? Danny took out the 289 engine and replaced it with a new 302 engine, put in the C-4 tranney, wood bed, tonneau cover, and a lot more. I asked him about the pink wire covers and he said, “it matches the pin-stripping”. Danny and Karen have a lot of fun going to local shows and cruising on Route 66. The longest distance he has taken it, is Palm Springs. Nice truck Danny, glad you and the F-100 are in CAL-RODS.
